A nationwide festival that focuses on combating period poverty was initiated and implemented by a feminist collective under the name Jeyetna.

Throughout this initiative a documentary was played showing the reality of diverse people in Lebanon and their stories with regards to periods. Additionally, a variety of period products (period cups, reusable pads, etc..) were distributed to beneficiaries.

Juniper had the honor to be invited to collaborate with Jeyetna in their initiative.

For this initiative, Juniper took part in training volunteers to present the use of period cups and maintain their hygiene. Juniper team members also had the opportunity to present about the cup use and its related social stigma in rural areas like Bekaa.
